It’s time to disconnect from your everyday life and reconnect with your most authentic self. The pour into yourself wellness retreat is filled with meditative yogic practices that will help you discover and embody who you really are. We will begin each day with yoga practices and meditation. We will also have daily workshops that will show you how to effortlessly elevate your level of joy, inner peace and abundance.

Meet your hosts

Hello, we are Wendy and Dan Hennessey. We are the owners of a health and wellness lifestyle company called TheHennesseys.com. For the past 10 years, we have focused on developing our own inner alignment and well-being so that we can manifest a thriving life that is authentic to who we are and what matters most to us.

Since 2016 we have been teaching others our unique methods, practices, and techniques so they too can manifest their own authentic thriving life. It’s our passion, and our company’s mission, to offer people life-changing experiences that unlock their innate power and potential.

We offer online courses, 1:1 coaching programs, and now wellness retreats worldwide. Everything we do is designed to help individuals embody their highest selves so they can experience more inner peace, joy, and abundance each day. We are excited and grateful to be on this path and can’t wait to meet you.

Itinerary

DAY 1 - WELCOME HOME: Welcome to your Costa Rican Oasis! Opening “Release and Let Go” Welcome ceremony and a gorgeous dinner to get to know your retreat family.
DAY 2 - YOUR AUTHENTIC SELF: Rise and shine for yoga and meditation time this morning. Today’s highlights will be a Blue Clay experience, Workshop session on Aligning with your Authentic Self, mixed with delicious meals and yummy free time.
DAY 3 - POUR INTO YOURSELF: Magical morning with yoga and meditation. Today we will play in the ocean during the surf lesson, if you should choose, or enjoy the beautiful local beach. In the afternoon we will dive into the Pour Into Yourself workshop session. We will finish off the day to the beats of salsa music as we work on our moves in this optional class.
DAY 4 - IT'S TIME TO THRIVE: Movement is medicine! Start your day with a yoga and meditation practice. Today will be full of delicious freeing practices including a cacao ceremony and a workshop where you will unlock how to really thrive in life on your own unique soul path. You will have a free evening to enjoy as you please.
DAY 5 - A NEW BEGINNING: Yoga and meditation to set the tone for the day. Today’s workshop will cover how you create your own life experience. This is the perfect session to help you take the amazing retreat feeling home with you and create and commit to yourself post retreat. You will also have time for some R&R at the beach/pool and finish off the day with a delicious farm to table dinner in a special location.
DAY 6 - FAREWELL CELEBRATIONS: We will finish up our time together with a morning yoga and meditation practice, before we close our time together and say until next time.

FAQs

WHAT TIME DOES THE RETREAT START AND END?: The retreat will officially start at 16:30 on June 24th and end after breakfast on June 29th, 2023.
WHICH AIRPORT DO I FLY INTO?: Liberia International Airport is 1.5 hours from the retreat venue and there are direct flights from the United States. Tamarindo Airport services domestic flights from San Jose and is 15 minutes from the retreat venue.
DO I NEED TO BRING A YOGA MAT?: The venue has yoga mats you can use.
HOW DO I GET FROM AIRPORT TO THE VENUE?: We offer a transfer from either Liberia or Tamarindo Airport. We will be reaching out 6 weeks prior to departure date for your flight information and once received we will send transfer booking options. Alternatively, taxis are available on arrival.
DOES THE RETREAT CATER TO SPECIAL DIETARY NEEDS?: Please let us know at least 14 days in advance of the retreat start date if you have any special dietary requests so that we can let the venue know.
CAN I COME TO THIS RETREAT ALONE?: Yes! Traveling alone is a great way to meet new people, and on this trip we’re all in it together and you’ll be part of the gang in no time.
WILL I GET ANY “FREE” TIME?: Absolutely! We will always schedule down time in our daily itinerary for you to use as you wish.
I WANT TO SHARE A ROOM, BUT I AM TRAVELING ALONE, DO YOU ASSIGN ME SOMEONE TO SHARE THE ROOM WITH ?: If you are traveling alone, we will assign you to an unaccompanied guest that also wants to travel in a double occupancy room. We will do our best to accommodate.
HOW DO YOU ASSIGN THE ROOMS?: Rooms are assigned on a first-come-first-served basis. Each room is unique. Changing to a different room at the retreat is subject to availability and additional costs may apply.

Please note: all rooms are equal in terms of comfort and cleanliness. We will do our best to assign you the nicest available room at the time of your deposit.
WHAT IS THE COVID CANCELLATION POLICY?: In the unlikely event that WE have to cancel the retreat for any reason then we will offer you the following options:

A full refund of all monies paid, including your deposit

Transfer of your booking, free of charge, to a future retreat of the same value

If you are unable to attend the retreat for any reason, including because of a last-minute positive Covid-19 test, or restrictions in your region or country, you will need to make a claim with your travel insurance provider to claim any trip or retreat costs..
