WHAT TIME DOES THE RETREAT START AND END?

The retreat officially starts at 10:00 AM on September 9, 2024, and ends at 9:00 AM on September 14, 2024.

WHICH AIRPORT DO I FLY INTO?

You should fly into Rome Fiumicino (FCO) or Ciampino (CIA).

HOW DO I GET FROM THE AIRPORT TO THE HOTEL?

From Fiumicino, you can take a direct train to Rome Termini which takes around 35 minutes. 

From Ciampino, you can take the FlixBus to Tiburtina Bus Station in the city center which takes around 25 minutes.

WHICH AIRPORT DO I FLY HOME FROM?

You can fly home from Venice Marco Polo Airport (VCE). 

From Venice Piazzale Roma Bus Station, you can take the number 5 bus to the airport which takes around 20 minutes. Alternatively, you can take the water bus from stop F.Te Nove “A” to the airport which takes approximately 40 minutes.

If it is easier for you to purchase a return flight ticket to/from Rome, then this is possible too. You can get a direct train between the two cities in about 4 hours and then return to the airport the same way as you did on arrival.

WHAT ARE THE PASSPORT, VISA AND IMMIGRATION REQUIREMENTS?

It is your responsibility to check and comply with any travel, passport, visa, entry, health, vaccination, testing, and immigration requirements applicable to your booking.

If you are a US Passport holder, then Italy requires passports to be valid for at least 3 months beyond your planned date of departure from the Schengen area, although we would strongly recommend having at least 6 months validity. You need two blank pages required for entry stamp in your passport. A tourist visa is not required for stays under 90 days.

WHAT CURRENCY SHOULD I BRING?

Euros! The currency in Italy is the Euro and ​​cash is still preferred in most restaurants, cafes and small shops, although credit and debit cards are becoming more widely used. Visa and Mastercard are widely accepted, but American Express is not.

IS THIS TRIP SUITABLE FOR PEOPLE WITH REDUCED MOBILITY?

CAN THIS TRIP CATER TO SPECIAL DIETARY NEEDS?

Absolutely. We work closely with our partners and suppliers and can accommodate most dietary requirements. We will email you a form to gather information about your dietary requirements three weeks before the trip start date. 

WILL I GET ANY “FREE” TIME?

Absolutely! This is an active itinerary and you’ll be busy exploring three of Italy’s most incredible cities, but there is also leisure time included for you to recharge, nap, and do your own thing.

IF I DECIDE TO CANCEL MY SPOT, WILL I GET A REFUND?

The deposit is non-refundable and is used to secure your spot on the Trip. If you decide to cancel after the Confirmation Email is sent to you, your deposit will not be returned. All subsequent payments are also non-refundable after being made. 

You can opt to pay the full balance at any time by clicking on the payment link found in your Confirmation Email.

If you book your spot on or after an additional payment is due, you will be required at the time of booking to settle the deposit along with all payments that were supposed to be made up until the date on which you booked with us. If you book on or after the Balance Payment is due, you will be required to pay the full trip cost at checkout. 

The remaining unpaid balance (if any) can be checked by following the payment link found in your Confirmation Email. It is a condition of your booking that you purchase adequate travel insurance to cover any fees you may incur if you have to cancel your trip. If payments are not made on time in accordance with the General Terms & Conditions, we reserve the right to cancel your booking and retain all payments

WHEN DO I NEED TO PAY THE REMAINING BALANCE?

You can now choose from three different payment options:

OPTION 1: Pay the full balance upon booking

OPTION 2: Fifty50 Plan – Pay 50% at the time of booking, and the remaining 50% by June 11, 2024 (90 days before departure)

CAN I COME TO THIS TRIP ALONE?

Yes! Although this is a couples retreat, we know that it’s not always possible to both get away at the same time – so why not come alone and share all you’ve learnt with your partner when you return home after the trip?

Traveling alone is a great way to meet new people. On this trip we’re all in it together and you’ll be part of the group from the moment you arrive.

I WANT TO SHARE A ROOM BUT I AM TRAVELING ALONE, DO YOU ASSIGN ME SOMEONE TO SHARE THE ROOM WITH?

If you are traveling alone and would like to share a room, we use our best judgment to find a good match. We endeavor to accommodate any specific requests you may have. Please contact us with any requests so that we can assign you to an unaccompanied guest who also wants to travel in a double occupancy room.

HOW DO YOU ASSIGN THE ROOMS?

Rooms are assigned on a first-come-first-served basis.

WHAT IS THE CANCELLATION POLICY?

CANCELLATION BY US

In the unlikely event that WE have to cancel the trip for any reason then we will offer you the following options:

• A full refund of all money paid, including your deposit
• Transfer of your booking, free of charge, to a future trip of the same value

In the unlikely event that we have to cancel the trip for any reason, any flight tickets purchased by you will not be able to be refunded. It is for this reason that travel insurance is a mandatory condition of your booking. 

CANCELLATION BY YOU

If you are unable to attend the trip for any reason, you will need to make a claim with your travel insurance provider to claim any trip costs.

Please ensure your travel Insurance provider covers you for the following:

• Flight cancelation
• Trip payments
• Medical restrictions preventing you from traveling
• Local and destination restrictions preventing you from traveling

CANELLATION BY YOU

If you wish to cancel your booking after we have issued a Confirmation Email to you, you must inform us in writing as soon as possible and the effective date of such cancellation shall be the date on which we receive written notification from you. All Payments that you would have previously made shall not be refundable.

CANELLATION BY US

We may need to cancel the Trip whether before or after departure, and such cancellation shall be subject to the General Terms & Conditions. Furthermore, it sometimes occurs that a Trip does not meet the minimum number of guests and must therefore be canceled.  

In order for this Trip to go ahead, we need to hit the minimum number of 20 guests.

A final decision will be made on whether this Trip will go ahead no later than the Trip Confirmation Deadline, as set for July 30, 2024. By that date, should the minimum number of guests not have been reached, you will receive a cancellation email. 

We recommend waiting until after the Trip Confirmation Deadline to purchase flight tickets. Should you wish to know in advance of the go-no-go decision due date if the Trip is confirmed, you may check the Trip status on our website. If the Trip status is listed as “Sold Out” or “Confirmed” it is confirmed to operate.  If the Trip status is not detailed this means we have not yet reached the minimum number of guests required for the Trip to go ahead. 

If we have to cancel the Trip for any reason, any flight tickets and any other travel-related expenses that may have been purchased by you outside of this package e.g. transport, insurance etc. may not be able to be refunded. It is for this reason that travel insurance is a mandatory condition of your booking.

IS TRAVEL INSURANCE INCLUDED?

We do not include travel insurance as everyone’s needs are different. However, having travel insurance in place for each person is a condition of your booking. If you haven’t purchased cover yet, you can do so here: Faye Travel Insurance

• Flight cancelation
